Helpful tools for busy moms, and how to get the maximum amount of baby coupons

This post has been sitting in my drafts for some time, so I thought I would go ahead and post it.  These are things that I do, and have done to help me with attempting to save some money on baby items.  As you can imagine with triplet babies it can get a little expensive at times.

First, for those expecting moms if you haven't signed up for the Pampers, Huggies, Enfamil, or Similac programs go get online and get started.  You get coupons after you sign up, but also with the two diaper companies you can also rack up points from the diapers you buy. Each box of diapers and/or wipes have a product code in it.  Pics below.  Pampers tends to offer more free rewards with their products than Huggies.  As for the formula companies, they send you coupons on occasion.  A plus about this is they are usually bigger coupons.  FYI, as I've mentioned before they all have multiples programs.  You have to call the actual company for this.  Also, with the Similac coupons, I found out recently that since Elecare (prescription based formula) is made by same nutrition company as Similac (Abbott Nutrition), you can use Similac coupons on Elecare, which is prescription based.  This is a huge savings considering it cost $45 a can.  Even though it is prescription based, Walmart has started stocking it over the counter.  It is the same price that you pay direct from Abbott, but with the Similac coupons you save some.  But, back to the coupons.  If you use the manufacturer coupons, plus an in store coupon at Target (some other stores do double ups occasionally, but rarely) you get quite the savings.  This is so easy, you just have to be deliberate with it.  With three I definitely am.  Also, occasionally Target gives $10 gift cards when you purchase two boxes of diapers.  Can't beat that.  This last diaper run we made, I got $60 worth of Target gift cards.  Woo hoo!

This is what the product code for Huggies rewards looks like.  Always inside the box on the plastic wrap, and with wipes its always on the plastic wrap.

What Pampers reward codes look like.  They are also on plastic wrap.

Sometimes on certain wipes containers they look like this.  On backs of wipes packages.

Some helpful tools, for me, are iPhone apps.  It's right at your fingertips, and usually do not take long.  With multiples you don't have hardly any time for many things so I'm always looking for an app for what I need as a busy mom.  Here is another one besides the ones I've mentioned before.  It's the Walgreens app.  You can go online and create an account, add your kiddos to the pharmacy part, and refill scripts without calling or actually having to go to the pharmacy.  Just have to go pick it up.

Next up is apps for students, and teachers.  They finally made an option in the apps store for this, not sure it's permanent, but its a start.  You can always search the educational category, but I've found that's not always very helpful.

Here are a couple of new apps I downloaded for my 4 year old when we are on the go.  One is a science app, and the other is a geography app.  Both free.

Anywho, that is about it.  I'm sure I am forgetting something, but I will try and always share anything that is helpful to me, and could be helpful to other moms out there.

Blessings,
Tiffany Ann
