First, Beau is doing great. Still loving school, and he absolutely loves his teachers, and tells me everyday. So thankful! This is the end of his third week of pre-kindergarten, and today I was able to spend a few hours with him, and his class. First, I brought him lunch, and got to eat with him. He was so excited, as was I. :) It was very special, and sweet. My little boy is growing up. :( Then we all headed to the playground for recess. Woo wee, that would ware anyone out. I haven't seen that many pre-k kiddos, ever, in one spot. Lol. Craziness! Anywho, once recess was over we came in, and I had the pleasure of reading three books to those cutie pies. Pre-k is hard work for these four year olds, so after story time they get rest time. Half of them fall asleep, and the other half all wide eyed waiting to see what happens next. Lol. My boy falls asleep every time. Lol. Pre-k definitely tuckers him out. Once they all went down for rest time, I was able to help the teachers out with some copying, then off I went back to the babies. Thankfully they did well with two baby sitters here at home. :)
At lunch with this cutie :)
The kiddos love this little bike invention. Pure genius on getting these turkeys tuckered out.
So proud of my big boy, and I let him out it wherever he wants to display it. :) he likes to put it on the dishwasher. Lol.
Beau, and his best bud Cooper.
As for the babies they are giving me all they have on making momma one tough cookie. Lol. They are all teething like crazy. Chewing, and biting on their little hands. Drooling like a dog on a hot summer day, and a little fussy. Hoping these bottom teeth come in soon. Anywho, I stay busy day in, and out with all the boys. Beau is the best helper too. He is such a sweet boy, a big helper, and loves his brothers like crazy. Just blessed beyond measure with my big boy. Proud of everything about him.
Yesterday, I had to take Wyatt in to get this lump on his right side of his chest looked at. They took some X-rays, and I got the call with results today. His spine shows distinct curvature, which could possibly be why his ribs stick out on one side as they do. The radiologist said in his notes that it shows signs of scoliosis. This scared me just hearing the word scoliosis, but the sweet nurse that relayed the notes, and words from the pediatrician, said that the pediatric orthopedic doctor will actually be able to see if this is something caused from being squished in utero, or if it is indeed scoliosis. Either way, I know God has calmed my heart, and will help my sweet baby whatever it is. Currently, the pediatrician said to wait, and ask the specialist if the other two need X-rays or examination to see if they have it as well. So, if you will, please add my babies to your prayers.
All the X-rays tuckered him smooth out yesterday. Love this little guy. *thats Beau's little outfit from when he was a baby. Looks like a little Gilligan :)
I also, want to give a small update on myself. I got some not so good news earlier this week. I did go in for a MRI on my right knee last week. My doctor called me on Tuesday, and told me that my cartilage behind the knee cap was cracked. Danggggg it! So, he said he would go in arthroscopicly, and shave it down, then buff it out. This giving me a new cartilage basically with no damage to get worse later. Currently I am working on my schedule to be able to get this surgery done. It is out patient, but I will have a bum knee for a couple of weeks. So, that means I will need help with the babies. Thankfully, I have great family, and friends, that will be helping me with this. I am praying that God will help me be tough through this. My kiddos need me, and I will need to recover as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, this is not something I can just let go for a while, as I have let it go since I hurt it back in January. I've nursed it as long as I can, and the cartilage is not something that heals. It only gets worse with time. :( So it must be fixed. I definitely don't want a knee replacement later on in life. Anywho, that is the scoop on my knee situation.
My sweet little Brant. Just love his round cheeks. He is a lover. :)
Beau entertaining the babies. He tied his ropes together to make a walker train. Lol. He is definitely good at tying ropes.
Once all the babies were in bed, I took a nice evening ride on my bike. Did about three miles, maybe a little over. I like riding after 8. Just have to ware bright clothing though for sure. Here is a pic from atop one of the hills I ride up. Always a great view up there. I feel like its the tallest hill on hyw 9. Lol.
I better get to bed. Beau is off at his Grams. He loves staying out at Gram's place. I miss him already, and it is only 9:45. lol. Oh...Just a few side notes...next week the babies will be five months old. Man does time fly. I also will hopefully have a date pinned down for my knee surgery. Also, I should hear of a date for Wyatt to see specialist. Then in October some time, I will be taking my OSAT. So if you will, please add this to your prayers. It means a lot to me. I'm getting my books out this weekend to start reviewing for the test.
*Managing triplets plus a four year that just started school can be tricky, but somehow God is helping me. I definitely have my tough days, but in the end it all works out fine. I have managed to get the babies out to get Beau to, and from school most of the time here lately. That is a huge plus. I want to be able to do the normal everyday things, and God is provisioning this for me. I know it probably will not happen all the time, but as long as it can some times that's all that matters. :) So, multiple momma's just strategize, and find a good routine. That will allow you to take advantage of the good days. :) 10-4 over and out!
