The day started off as usual, getting Beau up and ready for school. Then once we got all settled I got on the elliptical, and then I thought, "why am I on this thing?" It's not winter, and I would much rather be outside, and so would the babies. So what are waiting for, just do it momma. Then I ended up loading them all up, and took them for a two mile walk. It was really nice, and relaxing.
They all passed out right before I pulled back into my street. Big thumbs up for in sync napping. I just might do this everyday. Lol.
Then this evening was somewhat eventful. I decided I should keep up my daily ride, and got on my bike. Checked my tires before I left, all good, and then hit the road. Half way into it I blew a tire. What?! Yes, I was bummed. Sat there for about five minutes thinking...I should keep a nitro pack, and a spare tube under my seat for times like these, but I need it now. Too bad Tiff, your gonna have to walk it home. What?! Yeah, this stinks. But then, since I was on a lightly traveled back road I thought, "hey, this is exactly what you love...so enjoy it." The sun was setting, and I have to admit, it was nice. Two more miles. Did a lot of thinkin as I usually do when I ride. Thankful for my bike. Thankful for a beautiful back drop. Thankful I had a flat tire, and ended up enjoying God's beauty. Thankful I got to talk to my best friend Amy, and catch up on some things.
Not finished yet. Lol. Got back home, and Beau wanted to ride his bike. I ended up taking the babies for a short walk with Beau so he could ride his bike. While going down my street he said, "come on mom, hurry, your missing it." I said, "missing what?" He said, "the sunset momma." I was like man this little fella is a sweetheart. Made my day.
While I'm on here I might as well share another little story from yesterday. I think my life could be a movie, or even a book. Anywho, was waiting in the forever long pick up line at school to pick up my big boy yesterday, and instead of catching up on my phone I put it down, and just watched him walk out and sit in line. Just wanted to soak in watching him from afar when he doesn't know. I was about ten minutes back from getting him loaded in the truck, so I just watched. All the sudden I see him lean over, to the cute little girl in front of him, grab her face (checks actually), and give her a huge kiss. Then he utter some words, and she just looked at him with a big smile. What?! I didn't know if I should laugh, cry, or freak out. Lol. I mean the boy is only 4, but I guess you can't put a timeframe on your first kiss. I just don't know what to think. Lol. I asked him about it on our way home in a nonchalant way, didn't want to draw attention to the matter, and what the girls name was. He said, "Layla." She is a cute little blond, long haired, country girl, but hey none of that right now. I think I might have my hands full with four of these little turkeys. Beau is definitely a little lover like his momma. Lol. I will admit, it was cute, but hopefully he will hold off on this for a long time.
Anywho, gonna hit the hay. My legs are sore from today.
