Wyatt, aka 'Dimples', has grown so much in the last month. The meaning behind that little nick name I call him is because he has dimples in his elbows, knees, and cheeks. He only has them in his cheeks when he smiles real big. But, he always has them in his knees, and elbows and it is too cute. He gives the best hugs, and kisses too. It is pretty dang cute. He will just smile when he does it, and then look around to see if anyone else is there. Lol. He still holds the record for fastest army crawler. Lol. He will get up on all four, and rock back and forth, but then hawl booty army crawling. It's pretty cute. When he wants momma, he takes off like a nascar baby racer to get to me, and then lifts his little arms. He is currently in the 17 pound range, and still drinking Elecare. Currently waiting on a cancelation for his next orthopedic specialist appointment. They are crazy booked, and it is hard to get appointments with them. But, he is established with that specialist so they said it will get easier getting in to see him.
Oh, my sweet sweet Brant. This boy just melts my heart. I tend to go to him more now, because he has the worst belly troubles. :( He also has the hardest time fighting off infections. Hoping he doesn't have THI like Beau did. He has just started army crawling, but is ahead of the other two on pulling himself straight up. He loves to make his way under the pack and play, and hide. Lol. It will entertain him for a long time. He is in the 16 pound range, and still taking Elecare too. As for his spine he hasn't seen the specialist yet. His and Luke's appointment is in January, but hoping to get an appointment sooner. Oh, and this boy is a photogenic one. He always smiles at the camera. :)
Luke, my little turkey. He still smiles all the time. One thing he does that is so precious is he will give the bashful head tilt, and smile. It is definitely so so aweet. He is my busy bee for sure as well. He likes army crawling all over the living room, and into the kitchen, entry way, playroom, and dinning room. Lol. He investigates everything besides his toys. It's funny cause he goes for buttons on things, the swing (he likes pushing it), the recliner lever, wheels on the pack and play. Just anything. Oh, and I've already had to start baby proofing the house. When they are in carts, especially Wyatt, they go for the plugs. :/ Scary for sure, so I jumped on top of baby proofing. Anywho, I know I'm probably leaving a lot out of each of them, but this is what I can think of right now.
They all recognize their own names, and acknowledge you when they hear their name. One thing I know is that they all love playing together. Although they do love being held, they love playing on the floor together more. They don't like it if they have to go somewhere where they can't get down, and have to be held the entire time. If I do go somewhere I make it a one to two place trip. For example, if I go to SAMs, I usually just go there and one other place. It's just too much on three babies to one momma.
As for feeding I'm so bummed, and a little frustrated. Tomorrow we are starting veggies. I pray they do miraculously well. They did not do good on any of the baby cereals. :( So, the pediatrician wants to bypass all that, and go straight to veggies. Hoping for the best, because they are going through a growth spurt, and really need it. They are finally up to six ounces of formula per feeding. Woo hoo! And that's 25 cal formula, so that's really good. Probably why they are packing on the pounds right now. :) They are all still on the prescription based formula, and that cost a pretty penny so praying we can ween them off that by 9 months. I'm not holding my breath on that one though. I am finally figuring out what type of feeding situation I want to do with the babies. I was thinking a triplet feeding table, but after much research, and discussion I have decided to do three space saver high chairs. I have Beau's high chair, which is nice, but a little bulky. So, since I'm limited on space in the breakfast room area I'm going this route. Would have loved to do the triplet feeding table, but unless you make your own they really do not have great reviews from moms of multiples.
They are currently in size three diapers, and 9 months in cloths. They will probably move up to 12 months cloths by December. This means no more footy pj's :( boooo. Anywho, I better get busy. These four little turkeys keep me busy non stop.
Side note - Compared to Beau they are similar in what they do, and everything else. But, developementally a couple months behind when he did things. I'm sure they will be caught up by age one. I'm thinking by nine months they will be sitting up (like pulling themselves up) on their own, and possibly standing. Who knows. :)
Blessings!
Not a picture kind of day for us, but here they are at 7 months. :) Wyatt, Brant, and Luke.
This last Sunday, yesterday actually. It was a little cold so I got out their little hats.
Beau at his first skate party. He's a pro at this, and never had skated before.
Brant's first ride in a cart.
