Today was yet another big day for me and the triplets. First, today I was released. My swelling is still extremely bad, but blood pressure is good and we will just have to keep watch on my swelling. If it does not subside in two weeks, then I have to go in to see doctor about it. Next, I had to get everything done that the hospital needed before I was released. The main thing was getting the babies birth certificate information completed. Then I had to set up renting a hospital grade pump. Having multiples will definitely require the most powerful.
Anyways, on with the day. For some reason the NICU asked if they could move the babies to the PICU, because they needed room and we could room with them. Well if you ask me, I felt somewhat mad that they even asked this. Not that the PICU could not do what the NICU does, but really?! Well They went ahead and moved them, along with one other early baby to the PICU. I just hope the babies progress and get released to come home sometime soon. And in God's timing.
As for the babies. We did finalize their names, well Rusty did since he said he got to name two. Baby A is Wyatt, Baby B is Brant, and Baby C is Luke. It makes it so much easier to have a name. Wish we could have had them a lot sooner, but anywho we finally have them now.
As for their health, they all seem to be showing signs of reflux. Pretty bad in fact. :( So the neonatologist out them all on Prilosec today, and we are hoping that it will start to take affect in next few days. Brant and Luke both have scary signs of heart issues, but they could possibly be from reflux. All waiting on specialist opinion of this, and possible testing. Their billirubin did creep up again today, which made then kinda lethargic. :( But, they still are eating pretty good though. The neonatologist said possibly a week or two before they leave. They just need to grow a little, and master some of the major milestones of preemies.
Thank you for all the support, and prayers. They mean so much to us.
Adding a few cute pics. The first is of baby Wyatt and baby Brant cuddling. They are truly so precious. We have all been through so much this week, but I'm thankful that God made me their mother.
Love the names, and the babies are so sweeet. Hope you feel better soon
