Weekend Recap

This weekend seemed like quite the busy weekend.  I somehow squeezed in cleaning my entire house in the mix.  We pretty much did a little bit of everything.

Friday night, once I got all the babies to bed, Beau and I stayed up and watched Transformers.  Who doesn't like that?!  You know getting to watch all the action movies is one if the perks of having boys, among many other things.  So big thumbs up to that. :)  Then, yesterday I woke up and decided I would race around like a chicken with my head cut off and clean the house.  I managed to get it all done.  Woo hoo!  I let the cleaning lady go.  I'm just too picky, and figured I could just manage to do it myself, and I am.  Not sure how.  Between the babies, Beau, laundry, and everything else I am pretty busy.  Lol.  Then by noon we had to hit the road to go to Beau's little buddy Cooper's birthday party.  We took Wyatt along, and he did great.  He loves getting out, and soaking up all that attention.  He is my good traveler for now. :) Then we ran some errands, and came home.  Then today I had to take Beau to see his doctor.  I know, and on a Sunday.  Seasonal allergies kicking up some asthma is not fun.  But, got some good medicine, and he is already doing better. :) Did about 577 loads of laundry, and when dinner was ready big boy wanted to play monopoly.  So we ate dinner, played monopoly, and the babies enjoyed watching.  Oh, and chewing on the teethers.  Too teeth please come in soon!

On a mothering note...I'm trying to       de-tech Beau.  He is obsessed with the iPad, or his iPod.  :/ Probably my own fault for letting him play on them whenever he wanted during this Triplett uprising lol.  But, I set some ground rules, and so far we are doing better.  Hard to do in this technology driven world we love in.

Intensely watching Trabsformers.  Sweet boy enjoying momma time.

Luke love Scout, the talking puppy.  Wrestles him every time he grabs him.  Lol.

Me...on the road again. :) Goal this week is to try, and add three more miles. :/

Who doesn't love camo wrapping paper...I know I love it.  I'm running out, and I missed Affair of the Heart this year  :( so I need to find our where I can get this.

Shhhh, don't tell, but we snuck off to good ole Bass Pro today before we came home.  Have I mentioned, I love this store?!  :)

Dinner, monopoly with my big boy, and my babies.  :)

Finally, as we were driving to the big city today I noticed so many things.  Second time in a week to witness road rage.  I mean what is this crazy world coming too.  A lady wouldn't let another on comer merge onto the highway, and almost made them go off in the ditch.  Rediculous!  Then I watch a young man throw his phone at his car, because he had a flat tire.  Then, as we walking into BabiesRUS to return a single stroller (more on single strollers in a bit), this lady is literally racing to pull into a parking spot.  I have this huge box I'm carting, while holding my 4 year olds hand, and she is about to hit us.  What?!  I just look at her, start to put the box down cause she is not breaking it, and am just thinking.  Wow, are you really in that big of hurry to shop?!  Well, she slammed on her breaks when she finally noticed us.  All this just made me thank The Lord I do not live in the big city.  I'm not really a fan of shopping, but sometimes errands of necessities have to be done.  I procrastinate now, so I usually have a handful of places to go when we do go, and I hurry like the road runner running from Whiley Cyote.  Anywho, that's my road experiences for today.

Side note...SINGLE strollers for triplet momma's.  So in the triplet motherhood journey I've realized how much I have needed a single stroller.  There are days that I only take one baby with me, and I've needed a good single stroller for some time.  I ended up getting one to go with the peg perego car seats that I have.  This way, if the baby I have is asleep I can just snap the car seat in, and go.  But, I also wanted the comfy style stroller in case I didn't snap in the seat.  I couldn't determine what stroller was compatable so I called Peg Perego, and found out that all their strollers are universal to all their car seats.  Sweet!  I ended up ordering the light weight travel system stroller from Albeebaby.com.  If I haven't mentioned this baby gear wholesaler, let me just share about them. I found them when Beau was a baby, and absolutely always get smokin deals.  Sometimes the gear is last years model, but they do list that, and it is still an awesome deal. They have every baby gear brand out there.  I have bought Britax car seats, the infant car seats, and now the single stroller on there.  Great deals, and free shipping.  They beat everyone's prices I promise.

Gonna get back to bed.
