The Twelve Days of Christmas...through the eyes of this lady Jane

On the first day of Christmas my little babies gave to me...one crazy day of shopping.  And might I add it was only one store.  :/

So I was thinking this morning, when I changed the countdown number to twelve, why not make it a little comical and just add my daily life into the jingle.  Currently I'm feeding one of the babies, watching Open Season, and watching the other two babies wrestle on the floor. Oh, and this absolutely beautiful sunset out the window.  Thank you lord for the beautiful backdrop to this crazy day.  TGIF.  Wish I could share a pic of it like I normally do, but my hands are full. :)

Wrote that ^ earlier. :) onto a few things.

Now at 9:40, and all kiddos in bed.  Hallelujah!

So this week has been a little rough to say the least, but things have got a little better.  Thank you Jesus!  The babies are on the mend.  Thank you Jesus again!  One baby sick isn't fun, but three sick all at once kinda makes you question your sanity at the end of the day.  Lol.  Plus seeing them hurt, makes me hurt, and with three it just flat out stinks cause you can't cuddle each of them enough.

After thinking that I wouldn't be able to ride normal again on the bike, I finally managed to get comfortable with the leg yesterday and ride for twenty minutes.  I spoke with my doctors office (knee doc), and we discussed all the questions I had, and most of it is normal.  So they want me to be doing twenty minutes a day on the bike, and gradually increase.  Man I can't wait to feel normal again.  Today I didn't have a chance to ride, which I really don't want to happen often here in the initial stages after the surgery.  I have to get my knee, and leg back functioning again.

Next, I'm trying to study each day for my upcoming test.  I have to try, and study each day until the 21st.  Praying I do well on it.

Then Christmas, I love Christmas time.  Normally, I bake yummy treats with my Gram, but I am not sure I will get the chance this year.  :(  I also try and find the most special gifts for all the special people in my life, but I just haven't had the time.  I have bought for almost everyone on my small list, but still lack a couple.  With studying, rehabbing, and everyday life I just don't have any extra time.  Really will be sharing the reason for the season this year.

Only 12 days.

My little present wrapper.  He had santas workshop in class this week, and learned how to wrap.  Score!  Lol.  Plus he knows how much momma loves to wrap gifts, and make them look special.  :)  he said this was santas workshop.  I remember my grandpa saying that when Gram would get started wrapping all the gifts.  And let me tell ya it was santas workshop.  Paper everywhere, and the best bows anyone could create.  I miss those days.  Grandpa and I would also always put up Christmas lights, even when I was right out of high school.  He knew I loved it.

Me and Luke (this is the start of our little shopping trip.)

Sweet Brant enjoying the cart ride.
