16 weeks

So much going on this week as the babies turned 16 weeks old.  Here is just what all has been happenin...doctors appointments, lunch out :), a little back to school shopping, more doctor appointments, the tummy after the babies, and just livin the multiple life.

Earlier this week as Beau and I went for a  solo walk/bike ride we came across a pit bull.  Let me just say, that experience was not fun.  I wasn't worried about the dog, because I knew how to act and what to do if he got aggressive, but Beau on the other hand did not.  What did Beau do?  Took off like speedy Gonzales on his bike, and I started running to catch him as the dog chased him, but couldn't catch that super fast boy of mine.  The next thing that happened is what scared me the most.  He was going so fast he couldn't hear me, and ran the stop sign on our road.  Thankfully The Lord had his hand on him, and there wasn't a car, but as soon as he went through the stop sign their was a car.  Scared me to death, and I couldn't sleep good at all after that happened.  I explained to him in detail that I can protect him when dogs comes around, but cars I can't.  I'm really trying to remind him about stop signs and lights.  I'm praying he will grasp it soon since he loves riding his bike.  Anywho, the pit bill stills runs loose around here unfortunately.  Praying he won't be aggressive with any of the kids that live around here.

Any who, on with our busy week.  Yesterday was a long day for me, Beau, and Wyatt.  Wyatt had to see the doctor about two things.  One thing is a space in his ribs.  The doctor is basically keeping an eye on him with this, and more than likely it will go away with growth and development.  Abnormalities from being cramped in utero, happen a lot with multiples.  After going to the pediatrician we went to lunch, at a Restraunt.  First time for me since I was pregnant. :)  It was weird though not having all four kiddos.  I found myself twiddling my thumbs, because I am already so use to the minute by minute business in my life. Plus I missed the other two not being with us.  Next we went to Marshall's to get Beau some cloths.  He desperately needed some cloths.  I haven't been able to shop for him since last fall. :/  So we did a little pre back to school shopping.  Then we headed to my doctor appointment for my knee.  My doctor referred me to an orthopedic doctor that will do a MRI on my knee, and figure what the problem is.  Hoping some therapy, and no surgery will do the trick.  I'm ready to run again.

Next up was the babies GI doctor appointment today.  It went really well, and we don't have to go back unless the babies start doing bad, but the doctored were quite impressed with what I have done to combat their reflux.  We are hoping that they will outgrow the reflux by the time they are six months.  At six months is when we can implement a new formula, and see if we can change to a non prescription based formula.  On another good note while at the appointment today I found out all the babies are in the 18 to 25th percentile for their age.  This is calculated by their gestation, weight, and height.  This was really good to hear that they are doing good on growth. :)

Today:
Wyatt 12 lbs 8 oz
Brant  12 lbs 4 oz
Luke   12 lbs 8 oz

A big thumbs up to that. :)

The babies are changing so much everyday.  It truly is amazing watching them.  They grab toys, roll over, smile all the time, and so much more.  I can't even thank The Lord enough at how blessed I am with sweet, and healthy babies, and three of them at that.  Just flat out crazy!  Before the triplets Beau was my whole world.  I love him more than words can describe, but now I have three more to love just as much.  It's just amazing at how much a mother loves her children.  It makes my heart happy, and definitely full.  I've been blessed for sure.

Finally, I wanted to share some research I've been doing on your tummy after having multiples via cesarean section.  I have pretty much lost all my baby weight, but still fluctuate back and fourth on the last five pounds.  But this research I've been doing is on the muscles that get cut open from the c-section.  It's called Diastasis Recti.  I never even thought of it, until I came across this blog while trying to fid ways to work out to tighten my stomach again.  I still do not know much, and am still reading up on it.  But I plan on sharing a lot about it.  Including before and after pics once I start the workout made for c-section/multiples pregnancies.  :) I'm honestly not one that is vain, but I do care about my body.  Plus I really don't want to feel bad about comparing myself now to what I use to look like.  That's the hard part for me right now.  Not that I look bad...just have some tightening, and rebuilding of muscles that needs to done.  Ok, gotta get busy.  Was wanting to bake some sweets, but rambled on too long.  I have a serious sweet tooth friends.  Anywho, if anyone knows much on this topic please text or email me.  I would love to know more.

On a side note big boy starts pre kindergarten in two weeks.  Prayers needed for this transition that he does well, and that I can manage being as involved as possible with the school and his class.  I'm pretty excited for him.

Here are the latest pics of the boys.

Well, they like sitting at the table.  Thank goodness!

Big boy Luke :) little frog

Bjorn we need a double holster, maybe even a triple, but that might brake my back. Lol.

Wyatt just got tired of waiting to be out to bed.  Poor little guy fell asleep in his active bouncer.

Day out yesterday :)

Today at the GI doctors office.  They were so good, and always are as long as their bellies are full.

Love home growth fruit and veggies, so we stopped by TG farms on the way home. :)
