Nothin like being at home :)

The past few days the boys and I spent out time out at My Gram's, my home growing up, and I will say we all are wore out from all the fun.  I think I wore everyone else there out too.  Lol.

Beau came home from his lake trip early, and we enjoyed my home towns 4th of July festival and celebration.  Their fireworks show is pretty good for a small town, and Beau and I enjoyed it.  I wasn't sure I would get to take him, but thankfully that night all the babies went down by 7:45.  Perfect timing.  Once I got all three to sleep, Beau and I hit the road.  He definitely enjoyed the fireworks, and afterwards I took him to buy his own fireworks.  Just small ones. ;)

Me and my sweet brown eyed, cotton top, dimple cheeked boy.  Love you Beau!

What was cool about this night, and the fireworks show, is that is was exactly right over the moon.  Beautiful night for sure, and we both enjoyed it.  :)

So then Friday I took all the boys out to Grams.  We swam, played outside, played in the sprinkler, played with the dogs, and they all had lots of fun.

They all understand each other pretty good.  I have no clue what they were giggling at, but they make each other laugh all the time, and it is precious.

On our way home that night.  lol.  Tuckered out for sure.

Wyatt...Saturday all four boys got summer cuts.  I trimmed a lot of hair off.  Their hair grows back fast.

I know, I always snap pics of these pretty thangs, but I love them.  I need them both.  :) A momma and her baby.

Grams baby proof skills lol.

Our thoughts when she finished.

Watched Uncle Roger pop some
Fireworks tonight.  He is an awsome
Uncle, and all four of mine love him a lot. :)

Tonight was a nice evening.  I love spending time back at home.  I was able to watch the sunset tonight, and at Grams you can see off that hill for miles, and western sky of Oklahoma is always beautiful.  I loved it!

Alright, I better get to bed.  This momma is tired.

Spring cleaning in July

Since it's just the babies and I this week I decided to fill my extra time with some deep cleaning.  So spring cleaning it is, here on July 2nd.

Beau and Russ are down at the lake enjoying this beautiful weather.  I stayed at home with the little road runners of mine.  They are all over the place, and run fast so I thought I would just let them have fun here at home.  Taking them to the lake at this stage just my do me in.  Lol.

With all this extra time, not really any extra energy lol, but I decided to go ahead and get organized.  I'm having a big garage sale in two weeks.  Hopefully! I have so much baby stuff it's a little overwhelming.  I've gave a lot away, sold some stuff, but the rest is piled in my attic and guest room.  So it's time to clear out.  I also started organizing the kids keepsakes and cloths that were sentimental in totes for each boy.  So all four now have a childhood tote that I've started.

The other thing I worked on yesterday before Beau left is a school tote.  I saved all of Beau's work from day one of pre-k until the last day, and let me tell ya it was almost a 13 gallon trash bag full.  I let him go through it all and choose what he wanted to keep.  We weeded it down to a thick file folder full of papers and artwork.  Woo wee that was a big reliefe. I cleared out a shelf in my closet...finally.  Lol.

Pretty much gettin stuff done with this spring cleaning in July.  Ok, got all these sweet dumplins down for nap.  I better get busy.

They loved watchin momma clean the windows.

Got a special treat from Gram yesterday. Her sand plum jelly.  It is mmmmm good too.

Hope y'all are enjoying this beautiful day!

Okie out!

The 4th of July when I was young

One of my favorite holidays is the 4th of July.  Always had been.  I love it.  Summertime, grilling, home made ice cream, family, friends, and fireworks.  That's what I always remember from times past growing up.

My earliest memories as a child on the 4th of July are such happy memories.  All of my family would come out to Grandma and Grandpa's place.  Gram would make some of her amazing home made side dishes for the grilling, and let me tell ya they are all mouth watering just thinking about it.  Lol.  Grandpa would get out the old ice cream maker, and get to crankin on that thing.  Him and Gram were the best team at home made ice cream.  I miss those days.  Me and my brother, well I would find the ant hills, and he would light the blackcats.  Lol.  We blew up every any hill on that hill out at Grams.  Lol.  I miss those days too.  Them we would hop on the four wheeler and hawl booty on all that red dirt.  Everyone always always had a great time on the 4th.  Lots of memories made.

Oh, and did I mention watermelon.  We always had what seemed to be the hugest melon I had ever seen.

This 4th is definitely a little different, as was the last.  It's a little bit trickier with three little rascals to watch, but that doesn't mean I won't take them to see some fireworks, or hang with my family.  I think they would really like to see fireworks as wild as they are.  They are my little firecrackers.  Anywho, with all that said I'm hoping I can persuade my Uncle Roger and Gram to make some home made ice cream.  :)

Uncle Chris

Wanted to share a post on my awesome Uncle Chris.  Saturday morning he came by, and got to visit for the day.  He was in town visit my grandparents, his parents, and we finally got some time to hang out.

Not sure if I have mentioned that he helps me more than any IT guru ever would on my blog, and he also started up my future website.  Can't wait to get it going. :) He also worked on my computer some.  It's really messed up right now.  Lol.  I let the five year old play some games on it...bad idea.  Five year olds want to touch every pop up that flashes on.  Lol.  So you can imagine what all is messing up my computer.  Anywho, we had a great visit checking out the bikes, and working on my bloggin skills.  ;)  I'm a pretty blessed lady with some awesome uncles.  I rarely get to see him, or his family, as they live in Arizona.  But, once these sweet babes can be functionable in traveling, we are hitting the road.

Okie out ;)

A glimpse into my future...

Father's Day 2014, was a full day for my boys.  They had lots of fun, ate a lot of food, and had a nice surprise this morning.  Here's how our day went.

First off bright and early we were surprised with my Dad swinging in on his way from a regatta down in Texas.  What a great surprise.  Beau was so excited, as was I, and the babies loved seeing Grandpa 'E'. :) he only could stay a few hours, so we made the best of it.  Took a nice walk with the kids, and then he played some ball with Beau when we got back.  They had fun, and he showed of his baseball skills.  Let me just say my kid an hit that ball good.  Lol.  Real good.  Any who, it was short, but sweet.  If all goes as planned we will have a nice short trip up north to see him and Nene in July.  Along with my Brother, sister in law, and new niece.  :)

Then this afternoon once the babies had their naps, and all ate lunch, dressed, and ready to go, we headed to Rusty's dad's, aka Pops.  Beau loves going to Pops, cause it's just every boys, and girls, kind of play ground.  He has a huge pond, and lots of land to run on.  Beau keeps fallin more in love with fishing.  It's absolutely awsome watching his face every time he catches something.  He never wants to quit, and would stay until the sun went down if he could.  Lol.  So we ate good food, and visited with his family.  Beau and the babies had fun.  The babies got to eat a lot while there, and enjoyed watching everybody.  They wanted to roam free, but it's a little tough around water and all that.  They all had fun though.

Now just watching them wind down.  All bathed, fed, and ready for bed.  And this momma is tuckered out after this long day.  Nothing a glass a wine, and a good soak won't help.

Before I get, I have to share this little moment from yesterday while shopping at Walmart.  I had Beau with me, and hurrying as usual trying to gather everything I needed, and as I started down one isle I looked up and there was a set of teenage triplet boys.  Wow!  I felt star struck.  I really did.  It was like a glimpse into my future.  Handsome as ever, and in their soccer uniforms.  I would say around sixteen.  They were with their mom and I believe Grandpa, and I just smiled at them for what seemed the longest time.  Looked directed at them until they noticed.  Lol.  They smiled back, as Beau said, "momma they are what we have, triplets."  Lol.  It was like I was stopped in time looking at my future.  Crazy.  I can't believe I have four boys, three being triplets.  Lol.  But back to the triplet teenagers.  They were all so darn cute, well mannered, and helping their mom get all their game supplies, well it is what it looked like.  Gatorade ect.  Lol.  It just really made me think of all the times I will be with my boys doing things like that.  I will definitely remember this glimpse into my future.

Here are a few pics to take a gander at.

Dad, and I yesterday.  :)

Not sure if I posted this one from last week, but Wyatt (Wildman) lol.  This pic totally shows their personalities.

Got to play some ball while Grandpa was here.

He loves to fish.  :)

Swimmin at Pops.

With his cousin Melia.

Little cuties

They loved corn on the cob for sure.

This is too funny not to share.

The boys, Russ, and my Dad yesterday morning.

I have errands to run, so I better get busy.  Blessings from this Okie Chic!

End of school, family visits, babies get buzz cuts, and swim school

Let's just say this post is a little bit of everything.  I probably should split it all up, but don't have the time.  So here ya go on an eclectic post.  ;)

Let's start with last Tuesday...the babies got to that point of yanking each other's hair out again, so momma got them all on the back porch and have them a buzz.  They look as cute as can be.  Seriously, they are cutie patooties.  Times three. :)  Wyatt and Luke did great, and didn't move a muscle while getting trimmed, but Brant, well he hated it.  Screamed the entire time, and all the countryside probably thought I would tormenting my baby, but I did good and was very gentle.  Little turkey for sure.

Yeap, he hated it.  Lol.

All that long hair.

They were so good thankfully...other than Brant throwing a fit.

Just look at those cute thangs :)

Next up was last Wednesday.  Beau had his end of year celebration, and awards with his class.  It was pretty cute watching all those sweet kids get their certificates, and a cute book that his teachers made with their progress throughout the year.  I ended up taking the babies, and they loveddddd watching all the kiddos.  We sure are going to miss his teacher, but good news she is moving to first grade next year.  So chances are good that he might get her again.  :)

Mrs. Dillman, Beau, and Mrs. White.

They were memorized I think.  Lol.

Then last Thursday we had some of my sweet Texas family visiting.  The babies loved seeing them, and got spoiled a little.  They tried ice for the first time, and kept going back for more, and more, and more.  Lol.  It was surely cute.

First time meeting my cousin Stephanie.  They loved her, and my cousin Debra.

More ice please :)

Then today Beau Ryan started swim school.  Best thing I could have ever enrolled him in I think.  He loves the water, but doesn't know how to swim and had a horrible swim lesson experience two years ago.  So, trying to repair that with success.  Given he is around ponds a lot, Grams pool, and the lake I had to do this.  The program I enrolled him in is a bundle kind of thing.  They first do a art/science activity then go to the swim instructor.  Today his teacher said he did absolutely great, and had no fear to jump in without any floaties.  When she told me I just was so overwhelmed with good vibes, and thankful for where I chose to go with him.  Wish I would have took pics, but will tomorrow when I don't have the babies with me.  Another plus is he came out of there happy as can be, and said he had a blast.  He is already ready to go back tomorrow, and that makes this momma happy.

Anywho, gotta get to cookin.  Y'all have a good evening.  ;)

Here is a sweet pic of my niece.  I have to share some pics of this sweet girl.  I'm hoping within the next couple of months I can finally meet her...miles and miles away, but I'm trying to make it happen.  This is my sweet Hannah.  Look at her beautiful baby blues...just like her momma's.  And the cheeks :) and her sweet smile.  Can't wait to just hold her, and spoil her like an aunt does.  :)

Ok, Okie out! :)

Sweet Sunday

Today was my fifth Mother's Day, and I would have never thought I would have four kids by this time.  But, I do, and I'm so very thankful for each of their sweet selves.

Just going to post some pics, and then catch up on some things.  :) I hope all of y'all had a beautiful Sunday.

On out way to Gram's.  The babies all love facing forward now.  They stay pretty well entertained at all the site seeing.  Lol.

Wowzers, me and all four.  :)

Wyatt thought his cousin Reed was quite funny.

Aunt Candace, and the boys.  They loved my sweet Coco.

And I think my neighbor is saving this ride for me :) I totally would drive it.

And my awesome Uncle Russ bought us all American shades.  I dig em, and wore all the way home.  ;)

Because sometimes I just don't have enough hands...I pat their little booty and they go to sleep.  :)

Dose of reality with triplets, and that's just today's sippies.  Weening off the bottle is tough, but we are doing it.

I made this cute thang for my sweet Gram.  It turned out pretty cute, and she loved it.  Not good lighting, and I was in a hurry when I snapped a pic.

Ok, gotta get.  I had a nice afternoon with my boys and my family.  It can get a little crazy with three babies running around, but thankfully they all understand.  I love my family so much, and am very thankful for them.

Blessings!

STAND

Today was a nice day out.  I didn't count on getting to go out, cause I didn't know if the babies would be good or cranky from these molars coming in.  But, good news they were great all weekend.  So, I got out and got to visit some apecial people.  :)

First off, the babies are now thirteen months as of yesterday.  A lot changed going from twelve to thirteen months.  They started getting in molars.  Boo!  They also started communicating a little more.  Brant is my best talker right now.  The other two just wing it.  Lol.  The big news during this past month is started to try toddler formula, and wean off the bottle.  Over the weekend I knew I needed to put on my big girl pants, and take the bull by the horns and just do this feeding transition.  The babies eat three meals a day now, so they are ready to be off the bottle.  It's going.  Praise Jesus!  This weekend having them try the toddler milk went great.  In fact they loved it.  Probably because it is flavored.  Lol.  It tasted good to me too.  Anywho, they are taking less bottles.  Thank you Lord, and drinking milk more out of sippies.  This will make life a little easier, and help them be more independent. That's the scoop on the baby front.

Today I got to visit my Grandparents in the city.  I rarely get to see them, cause one I have the babies always all the time, and two they live about 50 minutes from my house.  So it was really nice, and we had a great visit.  I think they loved the surprise visit.  It was also my Grandma's Birthday today too, so I brought a little surprise for her too.  :) I was glad I was able to get out to the store, and grab them some lunch before I got there.  I rarely get to do it, but love it when I do.  It was great to see them.  :)

This is my Grandma Crystal, and Grandpa Don.

Then I also got to go to lunch with a couple of my friends.  In celebration of Cinco de Mayo ;) we had Mexican food, and a strawberry Margarita for me.  Woo hoo!  I also squeezed in going to SAMs.  Yeeeeeah!  And made a new multiples mom friend.  I totally went up to a lady with twins.  They were three, and riding in the double grocery cart.  It was too cute.  Ok, gotta get.   These boys are gettin wild.  Time to get out and play. It's in the ninties today.  Big thumbs up!

annnnnd just when you think things can't get any bigger at SAMs....you are wrong.  Lol.  Get yur good ole Melon slicer at SAMs today.  Lol Had to get a pic of this last week when I was there.

The Amy and Tiff selfies.  She facebooks, and I take pics.  Typical.  Lol.

And this beauty is all along the fence behind my house.  Not sure what it is, but it's beautiful, and natural, and I love it.

The title today is random.  It's the name of this song here on the link, and was the song as I finished my ride last night.  Just awesome!  Go ahead, and put your booty shakin, boot stompin boots on and just dance to it.  ;) And here's the awesome song by one of my fave rock fellas, Lenny Kravitz.  Enjoy!

The triplets finally met the first person to see them into the world, and a big surprise for today too

Today was a big day for all the kiddos, and me too.  I'm wore out.  I couldn't function very well today, because I really felt like just laying down and taking a nap.  Lol.  Any who, not to bore you with my problems...let me share their fun today.

First off, since I didn't have any plans for today, and the babies turn one on Friday I had to buckle down on something I had planned on doing for a long time.  Taking the babies to meet the first person to see them, and welcome them into this world was so important to me, and I had to do it before they turned one.  Man I was close to that date too.  Lol.  I bathed the babies, did our morning routine, and then once they ate lunch they were ready for a nap, and since it is a long drive to my OB doctors office I loaded them up, and off we went.  It was so nice to see my doctor, and her two nurses.  I love them to pieces, and they are truly the best.  Really, they are.  The babies did great, and wanted to explore the entire office, lol.

Once we met everyone we headed out, and met my Dad and Sue.  They arrived in town today for the next four days.  Since it was just before Beau got out of school, we headed to the school to surprise him.  He didn't know they flew in today.  He was totally surprised to see them at school, and all smiles.

This post was suppose to be posted last night, but I really needed to get out of the house.  Breath in some of this fresh spring air, and relax.  Lol.  Had some of "those" kind of times yesterday that just make you say, "ummm yeap I need to get out."  So, did a late night Walmart trip...ended up not getting home until midnight.  It was actually nice.  I took my time, jammed out in the car, drove slow (not my usual Nascar wannabe way ;) ), and when I got home just looked at the few stars that were showing, and took in some of this fresh air.  It was nice.  I needed it, and now that the weather is nice I think I'll buy a hammock.  Lol.  I miss just hanging out outside, and taking in the beauty of things.  Anywho, off I went to bed after that, and forgot to post the sweet pics of yesterday.  It was just one of those days for me.  Although some fun things happened, my mind was just in the twilight zone.  Lol.

So here some pics frans.  Hope y'all have a great Thursday.

My awesome, and amazing doctor.  She is truly a blessing, and such a sweet lady.  Thankful I had her to deliver the babies.

Marissa...my doctor is so blessed to have two awesome nurses.  Such genuine, down to earth woman.  Love them both!

Erin...she was in a meeting down stairs, so she missed out on the triplet frenzy.  But, thankfully Marissa snagged her for a minute to see the babies. :)

Beau was pretty pumped to see my Dad, and Sue.

Learning how to fly a kite.  My dad being the sailor he is, knows exactly how to make a kite fly high.  :)

The babies joined in the fun, and liked watching.  Luke is waving ;)

Wyatt really was taking it all in.

Ok, gotta get my big boy up for school.
