Going into this visit this morning I was thinking I would get a good report since we are catching this early, but everything that the doctor told me just made me want to go throw up. It was a lot to take in, and even though I had him repeat everything I needed to know, I can't even remember the technological words he used. I was thinking that finding scoliosis in infants would make it easier to treat, but he said that is not always so. :( There are several different types of scoliosis, and to figure out which kind the babies have, further testing needs to be done. Didn't even know that there are different forms of the disease. Wyatt definitely has it, but they have to determine what is causing it. First thing, all the babies are getting an ultrasound of their heads. This will rule out fluid on the brain. Next would be an MRI. Praying that the form they have is an undetermined kind, for that kind most babies outgrow and get better. I would share everything he said, but I'm so overloaded by it all I can't remember it all. Also, the doctor went ahead, and made a appointment for Brant and Luke. They go in the first week of January. Please just pray for my sweet boys. I don't want them to have to go through the effects of this diseses.
While Wyatt, and I were out the other two stayed at home with Stacy. Wyatt was so good all day, and just smiled the entire time we were out. I think he was enjoying having momma all to himself. :) After the doctor appointment I was going to swing by one of fave stores, Bass Pro, but I had a nauseous feeling after hearing all that and went on with the rest of my errands. I just had to breath for about 45 minutes after all that. It was a lot. :( But, my day did get better, and I know God will protect them as HE always has.
Can't wait to share pics of them in their Halloween outfits. If you know me at all, I don't do the norm costumes. Here is a hint...Beau still wanted to be Turtleman this year, so I had to coordinate with him. If you don't know who Turtleman is, google "Call of the Wildman." Beau loves this crazy guy.
Although hearing all the scary things that the drs told me today, I was reminded by my Gram, and Uncle Roger that if I only hold onto my faith in The Lord....I know that all three will be fine. That I do believe.
Since I haven't road in over a week, I'm getting on my yellow treads tonight. Hope you all have a awesome weekend!
Wyatt learning to sit up all on his own.
What are they going to do to me momma?
And yes, since they don't serve adult beverages at the fountain in SAMs...a jumbo Coke will have to do for me. I needed it for sure.
Beau and Luke just watching Star Wars. :)
Yessss, I'm approved for my professional trimester, student teaching. :) only a couple more months.
