Half way to 1 year

It's hard to believe the babies are six months old today.  It's hard to believe I carried three babies at one time.  It's still so unbelievable to me, but its real, so real.  I look at these sweet boys sometimes, and just am in awe of them.  They truly amaze me.  It's crazy for sure.  I'm so so grateful, and thankful for them.

On with the updates.  First, they will be getting six months pics from my sweet friend Mary (Tomorrow's Memories Photography) this next week.  Then if they all feel well they might get to go with me on Beau's school field trip on Friday.  We will see.  Not holding my breath on that one, but its a possibility.  :) Anywho, let me fill ya in on these little cute dumplins.

They all have two bottom teeth.  Yeap, that's right...teeth.  I couldn't believe it either, because it is so early, but they sure did get them in.  Thankful it happened now, and not while student teaching.  That wouldn't have been fun at all.  Lol.  They still do not drink the recommended amount of formula for their age, but do pretty good for being multiples and a little early at that.  The formula they are on is high calorie, so I think that accounts for the lack of increase just yet.  Still no baby food. :( So sad I know, because they reach for drinks and food when someone is holding them that has something in their hand.  :( They want food.  Rice cereal was an all out no go.  So we basically skipped that part of being a baby.  Lol.  Trying out oatmeal this week, and hoping it works.  They all love getting out, and do good getting big bubba to and from school.  Thankful for that.  On the days I'm busy Russ, Gram, or one of my friends help me out.  They love our walks, and being outside.  I ordered some baby swings to put on the swingset, like my Gram has, and hopefully they will love them.  Beau and I hung them up last night.  They love to be outside, so I think they will do great.  Fingers crossed.  :)  I have yet to capture a good army crawl video. :/  They do it all the time, but I'm always busy.

As for my little heart melter Wyatt.  This little fella is so stinkin cute.  Well, they all are. :)  But, he is such a little charmer.  He still loves to touch momma's face as he drinks his milk.  It melts my heart each time, and I fall more and more in love with that little guy every time.  He is trying to sit up on his own, but still is learning.  He can pull his body half way up, but then falls back down.  He is still army crawling all over the place, and rolling everywhere.  His laugh is so cute.  Oh, and in the mornings he talks really really loud.  Like, hey you people, I'm awake, you hear me?  Lol.  It's pretty cute.  Luke does this too. :) Oh, and one thing Wyatt does on command is hug.  It is seriously precious, and cute.  If I can manage to capture it on video I will. :)

Brant, aka my little sweetheart.  He is the calm one of the bunch.  He never really gets upset, unless he really isn't feeling well.  He is also the best sleeper, and can sleep through other babies being loud, crying etc.  He takes long naps too.  The other two take short cat naps.  His voice is seriously precious.  I just love hearing him do his talking business.  He kicks like crazy.  He will lift both legs high in the air, and literally lift his whole body and kick both feet in sync like crazy.  Then laughs.  Only bad part of this is if one of the other two find their way near him.  Then all out scream fest starts, cause Brant has kicked them.  So, he is my little kicker, and did kick a lot in utero.  Lol.  He is doing great in the walker.  Trying to go forward, and always goes backwards.  Lol.  Hasn't started sitting on his own yet, but hopefully will soon.

Luke, my happy on life boy.  He is always pretty happy, but boy if you don't get him when he starts to fuss, umm look out.  Not fun when he gets upset, let me tell that for sure.  He usually is the one to wake everyone up in the morning with his loud talking.  He likes to wake up when the rooster does.  Lol.  He is also all over the place rolling, and army crawling.  He will roll from one end of the living room, and in a minute be at the other end.  He loves it when Beau gets home, well they all do, but Luke just starts to laugh and gets so excited.

Stats from 6 month well baby today.

Wyatt 15 lb 8 oz, height 26 inches
Brant 15 lb, height 25-1/2 inches
Luke  15 lb 4 oz, height 25-1/2 inches

Wasn't able to write down their percentages this time since both hands were tied. :(  Also, no shots this time since they all have a cold.  Will be getting them in two weeks.  They all get to start veggies once we master the cereal end of feeding.  :) They will be excited about that.  They all have to get ultrasounds of their heads, because of rapid growth.  Pediatrician just wanted to rule out possible fluid on their brain, and I really think they just grow fast like Beau did with his head percentages.  Brant and Luke will also be getting chest/spine X-rays since they have the same distinction as Wyatt.  Wyatt see's the pediatric orthopedic specialist in two weeks.  Other than all that they are doing well.  Thankfully the visit was faster this time.  Was only there an hour and thirty.  Whew!  I'm pooped though.  Calgon take me away!!! Lol, had to say that.  I remember those commercials from when I was a kid, and thought about them the other day when I was just wanting to just go an take a hot soak for a couple of hours.  Lol.  Ok, gotta get to feeding these little dumplins.

Currently
*Size 2 diapers.  Size 3 was just a little too big for them when I tried them last.
*Cloths - 6-9 months

Anywho, that is about it.

Blessings,

Tiffany Ann
