It was in the seventies yesterday, and we had clear skies all day long. The wind was not too bad either, and for Oklahoma that is rare. Anywho, Beau had his fifth birthday party at a little fun place called Andy Alligators. They have indoor and outdoor games and activities, and now that he is older he likes to do all that stuff. Plus he hasn't ever had his birthday at a place like that, and I knew I couldn't do it at home so it all worked out great. He had a blast, and a great turn out too.
Once we made it back home, even though all I wanted to do was plop down on the couch, I took the kids for a walk in out neighborhood. The day was way too nice not to enjoy a part of it. This was our first walk since I think October. The weather has been pretty much cold since then. Anywho, the babies loved it, and so did Beau, but I could tell he was so tuckered out. Lol. He said, "I'm glad we went for a walk mom, but I'm real tired." Lol.
All in all it was a nice day. It was tough keeping track of four kids at the party, well managing the babies, and keeping track of Beau. But, I did it. I'm still tired, but hey, he had fun. That makes it all worth it. I know one thing he now holds the world record of most Legos ever given at a birthday party. Lol. I told him he won't need anything for years. Lol.
Pics to come once my friend Mary gets them all developed, and sent my way. Thankful I had her capture the party, because my hands were completely full.
