Memorial '14

It's Memorial Day Twenty Fourteen, and I'm very thankful for all the service men, and women that keep us safe here on the home front.  I love my Country.

So thankful I'm an American, and have the freedoms that I do.  I Love America, and only hope that when my children are my age that they will be safe from the cold cold things in this world.

This last Friday me and the boys took flowers to my momma's grave.  I made a beautiful, and cheerful arrangement that I know she would love.  We also met my Gram at the cemetery to help with all her flowers she puts out.  While there Beau asked a lot of questions.  He has got to that age of why, and how come, and all that goes with those kind of questions.  I usually look straight up to God when he asks me something I know I better have the RIGHT, and good answer for.  After answering all his questions, I said a prayer as I always do when I visit her grave.  Beau just looks up at me, and says, "momma....grabs me with a big hug...I love you."  Then he wouldn't let go for the longest time.  I'm truly blessed with him, and I'm so thankful for his understanding of the word, and things I try and instill in him.

Hope you all had a beautiful Memorial Day.  Some words I thought of today are this...

God
Beautiful
Blessed
America
Soldiers
Love
Faith
Family
Friends
Grace
USA
Red
White
Blue

Here are a few pics to take a gander at.  I'll probably have another post tomorrow with a few things from last week. :)

This is the view on my favorite road to ride down.  Really nice ride tonight.  Storms in the backdrop, and a wheat field beside me.  Beautiful!!!

Let me tell y'all about this part of my ride.  This fence is covered in these wild roses, and when I ride by it is the sweetest smell.  I love it.  Gods natural beauty.

Yikes I let em roam free tonight.  They didn't run for the woods thankfully, and had lots of fun gettin dirty.

So a couple of nights ago I had a long right, well midway through a downpour started.  Haha.  I loved every minute of it, and had to capture it.  :) Road nine miles in the rain.

And when I got home.  It all cleared up.

Sweetest boy ever.  Love you Beau Ryan!

A friend shared this the other day on Instagram, and I couldn't agree more.  Love this!

Blessings from this okie chic!
