Every Southern girl...

Every southern girl has to have a charm bracelet! It is just one of those things that us southern girls have at some point in your life. As for myself I had my first one when I was eight years old, and I still have it. Then when I was in my twenties, having my first baby, I decided I needed a new one. So I bought one, from a favorite southern girl jewelry company, come on I know ya'll know who I am talking about. Yeap, Brighton. Anywho, as I was getting ready this morning, and I put my charm bracelet on, I just got to thinking about everything that I have been blessed with in my life. Being southern is just part of it. :)

So, here ya go. :) Every southern girl has to have a charm bracelet. Every southern girl, once she has some kiddos, must have a mothers necklace. (See my friend Audra with Ruby Lou's Jewelry for this) Every southern girl must have a Grammy just like mine. She loves all her family so much, and would do anything for them, and has. Oh, and she is the best cook around. :) Every southern girl loves to get her hands in the dirt, and loves a perfect summer day. Every southern girl loves to get crafty, even if she thinks she is not creative. UMM - ladies we are all creative. You just have to find your niche. :) Every southern girl loves to bake, and cook. It is just what we do. Every southern girl loves to love and give to others. It is the way I was raised, and still stands true. Every southern girl has to laugh at herself at least once a week. Well, at least this girl does. Maybe that is the fact that I am preggo with triplets, and forget stuff all the time or do something that is just, well, funny. Every southern girl loves to watch the sun rise, and definitely the sun set. Beautiful. Every southern girl loves being way out in the country just enjoying the silence and beauty of what our amazing Father created. Every southern girl should have a sweet 4 year old boy like mine. Why? Because he loves a lot, and is the sweetest little boy ever. Finally, every southern girl should love JESUS! Why? Because, HE is why we are here, why we are blessed beyond measure even when we are blinded and can not see it, and why we all are given Mercy and Grace without asking or even deserving it. That is my thoughts on EVERY SOUTHERN GIRL! :)

You know I started off the day thinking when I put on my charm bracelet. Then when I got to Gram's this afternoon to pick up little man he absolutely overwhelmed me with his giving heart and love. Not even prompted by anyone, just Beau being his little loving self. First, he told my Gram that he had to make me a birthday card, and he needed paint. So she got out the paint and let him do what he wanted. Then he told her that I needed a cake, which Gram had already asked me what kind of cake I wanted, but she let him think it was all him. :) So he helped her bake it, which he loves to do. Sifting flour is very fun for toddlers ya know. Oh, and it keeps them busy for a while, while your preparing the food. Then as I was walking down the sidewalk when I got there he saw me and told her, "oh no she is here." So Gram asked him what was wrong, and he told her, "I didn't get her a present and my momma needs a present." Now how precious is this of a 4 year old?! Seriously!! Life has been so busy, and crazy with me always at the doctor's office or not being able to get in the floor and play, and he still is so stinkin sweet. Mommas hold back your daughters, because this is what we all pray for when our kids are getting married. He is that sweet, and always has the biggest heart, and always will.
