NST today and no high risk appointment

Today started off the same as yesterday. The good ole back was just putting up a fight for me. So I had to get up earlier than I wanted, and walk around to loosen it up. I just can't stay in any position too long, or else I will regret it. Anywho, I rested for a little while before I had to go in for my second NST for the week, and started feeling a little better.

The NST went great. With the babies all staying in the same positions now it is much easier to track them. :) On another good note, during the hour and thirty minutes I was monitored, I didn't have any contractions. I've noticed that I usually have contractions in the mid morning time from 9:30 to around noon. Probably cause I have to get up for a while cause of my back. Then I usually do not have any more for the rest of the day. Occasionally I will, but for the most part I do not.

As for the high risk apt I was suppose to have, well I cancelled it. I knew yesterday that I just didn't want another long day, and Dr. M had said that I could wait two weeks to see him this time since I was not dilated or effaced. So, I called yesterday and cancelled it. Dr. M also gets direct tracking of my NST's while they are in progress, so if he was concerned or my NST triage nurse was concerned I would have went on over to see him. But, all is good. All the babies were good, along with me.

I am not sure if I mentioned it in an earlier update or not, but I finally had to start taking Prevacid. :( I was choking every night so bad that it would have harmed the babies if I didn't start the medicine. Even with watching the types of foods I eat and when I quit eating in the evening, I still would have bad reflux. So the Prevacid has helped tremendously, I still can tell I am having Gerd at times, but at least it doesn't burn.

While I was in my NST my Dad called and told me about a lady that he works with, that was pregnant with triplets. She was thirty weeks along, went into labor this week, and had her triplets. So I feel really fortunate that I am still progressing with the babies. Then there is one other preggo lady with triplets that comes in for NST's when I do at the hospital. She is almost 34 weeks and still a truckin. This gives me good hope, along with God reminding me, that I can get to 36+ weeks.

This Sunday I will be 31 weeks. Hoping for a restful weekend.
