To save a life

Last week I posted about a family's son, who is fighting just to live. Their story touches my heart for many reasons. First, they are the pastoral family of the church that I attend. Second, I taught Trey, the boy fighting for his life, in the church pre kindergarten class. Finally, Emily, Trey's mother, took care of my little boy Beau for over a year while I went to class during the day.

Through all of this I really got to know the family, especially Trey and Emily. Long story short, my heart just breaks for how rough life is for Trey right now. It hurts seeing his parents hurt, and even not knowing the unknown. As a mother, I can't imagine having to go through what they are going through, and this is why I am posting this. I see their pain, but know their Faith. I also have Faith that God is right beside him, holding his hand. Trey has gone through more in his short life so far, than most adults have in a lifetime. So if you will, say a prayer for him, and especially his family.

Here is a couple of links. First one is of a short news clip on his story. Second is of his Caringbridge site.
