Funday Friday with my boys

Today is going down in the books frans.  Reason why is because today is the first day the babies have really done good the entire day.  Praise Jesus!  I am giving HIM all the glory in this, because I honestly know it's miraculous.  Lol.  Really it is.  I truly needed a day like today, and I'm sure they are few and far between, but I really needed a day like today.

Mornin world, we want to go outside.

Today my big boy was out of school, because they took their last snow day.  What's unusual is that all four boys pretty much slept in.  By sleeping in I mean, the babies slept until 7:30.  Woo hoo!  I actually feel rested.  Then Beau slept until almost 9.  Yeeeeesssss!  Then once all ate breakfast we headed outside and played in the backyard for an hour or so, which was so nice.  It was in the 80s, and wind was still low, so we enjoyed it.  Then what's even better is after lunch the babies all took a two hour nap, well Luke took a three hour, but goodness it was awesome.  So what did I do?  I went outside and worked on a small sidewalk project that I've been wanting to do for sometime.  Where we put our trashcans gets so muddy, so I decided to do a rock path for it.  I got it started today, and hopefully can finish in next couple of weeks.  I really couldn't believe I actually got to do something, besides dishes and laundry lol.  It was nice gettin in the dirt, even though it wasn't much, still nice.  :)

It's started, still need to level it, and move them around, but hey I got it started.  Big thumbs up.  No more trash problems.

Then in the late afternoon Beau's buddy Weber got to come over, and they have been having a blast all night.  They dug up worms to fish with, and fished for almost three hours.  They had so much fun.  Caught some good lookin perch. :) Any catch for some five year olds is a good catch.  Beau's been wanting to fish for so long, and I never have a spare moment, but things are slowly, but surely getting simpler with the babies.  By simpler I mean, easier to maintain.  ;)  Anywho, they are still maxing out this beautiful day and having fun.  Thankful for great friends.

Pops pond.

Second catch of the night.

Weber's second catch of the night.

Sleepy babies enjoyed watching the boys.

Here in Oklahoma it was in the 80s today, and still feels great.  Starting to cool down a little, but the smell and feel of summer is coming.  I love this time of year, because it gives you anticipation of the next season...summer.  :) And another beautiful thing of tonight is this whippoorwill in the trees in my backyard. Awesome!

Dissapointment of the week, or dissapointing buy of the week is a American flag doorag I bought for my rides.  I normally use old tshirts, but splurged when I saw this.  Tell me if you notice why it's dissapointing.  America just isn't American anymore folks, and after I was like well shoot then I laughed cause it is kinda funny.

Night y'all!

  1. Yes, it seems like nothing is American made anymore and this is certainly wrong "made in China". But another one is the American Girl Doll and the prices!! but they aren't made in "America" either. :( How can that be?
