Today I went in for my NST. Thank goodness for Grammy watching Beau, because it was a long one. With my bad back it made it seem even longer. Nothing was wrong with the babies...they were just not cooperating. In essence, they really were doing what they are suppose to do in a NST, which is move around. But, we couldn't keep them still long enough to track a long enough heart rate. So of course, they had to do a ultrasound. Which took even longer with my little circus. So three hours later I finally got to leave. As we were scheduling my NST's for next week my nurse said, "Why don't you call Dr. M (high risk dr) and see if he would do one of the weekly NST's while doing the high risk checkup?" So I got on the horn and called them and sure enough they said yes. Amen, one less trip to the city per week, and one less place for me to have to huff and puff into. I may look thin for being preggo with triplets, but trust me my lungs are so tight and squished. Anywho, the other thing I am going to try and plan is to change my general OB apt's with Dr. H to Tuesday instead of Thursdays and combine the other NST with that. It's so hard with these two types of dr's cause their schedules are nuts. Anywho, that is the scoop about that. The babies did look good and healthy today. I did have some mild contractions, not surprising, but still keeping an eye on them. :)
I also forgot my medicine for my weekly shots :/ and I didn't want to have to drive back to north side. So, my triage nurse said, "I can meet you or come see you when I get off work, unless you know of another nurse." Just so happens I do know one less than a mile away. Thankfully, my sweet neighbor Stacy came over and gave it to me. She is also a NICU nurse as well. She was our first neighbor from our first house we built, and now in our new house we are still just about a mile away. :) Very excited about that, and missed being their neighbors. Her little girl, well she was just a toddler when we sold that house and now she is nine, always brought a smile to my face every time she came running to me when I was outside. Sweet sweet family. :)
Other than all that I am just exhausted. I am going to just loath all day tomorrow. Some exciting news for tomorrow is we are upgrading to a KING bed. Woo hoo never thought that a bed would make me so excited. But as big as I am, or as I feel, I need a giant bed.
Okie dokie, 10-4 my blogger friends, over and out!
