Today I had my usual weekly OB check, but with my regular OB's partner Dr. S. The babies all sounded great, and are showing more and more diaphragm movement. We did discuss a couple of other things. One Dr. S had to send in more labs to make sure my UTI is completely gone since today's sample did show traces of concern. I can't remember what she said, but hopefully all is well. On another note for the past week I have been having severe itching on my feet and hands. No rash or swelling, just itching really really bad. At first I was thinking it was my circulation, but then over the weekend I started to get a little concerned cause it is constant, so I went to the internet. :/ I know, I shouldn't try and self diagnose myself, but the internet makes things soooooo easy. So what I found was that my symptoms could me a sign of Cholastasis. This has to do with how your small ducts in your liver works during pregnancy. When it is not working properly it sends salt bile deposits throughout your body and causes severe itching. Anywho, Dr. S said that if mine persisted and got to the point of where my entire body was bad and I started to get a rash then they would test me, and then proceed with a c-section. But, she said it is not to a point of concern at this time where she thinks I have that. Whew - I feel a little relieved on that, but not relieved on the itching. Ice packs and cooler showers help, but other than that I will just endure it. Still no weight gain at all. I thought I maybe would have gained a couple of pounds since I feel a little better, but I didn't. Other than all that I am doing pretty good, and am continuing to rest. Three more weeks. It doesn't sound like that much, but I feel like it will go by so slowly. It would be cool if I could go to 37, but I think I would really have to beg my doctors on that one. :)
On another note Beau got to go with his Daddy to the circus last night, and some of the family as well. He had a great time, and was completely passed out by the time they got home. I was so glad they got to go do something fun together. Especially, since we have been constantly busy with doctor this, and monitor that. Ahhhhhh! Anywho, glad they had fun, and thank you to Papaw for getting tickets for everyone.
Then today he got to go to one of his buddies birthday party at a place in Mustang. I will hear all about this once he gets home here in a bit. :)
Happy Monday Ya'll!
