On to this, and a little bit of that note. It's been a busy few days. Started off with my big boy having some snow days off school. It's colder than who done it, but I can't complain cause at least the crazy okie wind is not blowing. That makes everything worse. Plus, kids love snow. It's just dang sure cold though. I need a fire. I know, I say that all the time, but I do. I love real fires. :(
Anywho, the babies have all had a nasty stomach bug going on day three today. Let me tell ya, changing diapers doubke what I was on a normal day is not fun. Oh, and changing cloths because of accidents from this virus is not fun. Boo! I want them to get better, and feel good.
In the midst of all the tummy bugs with the babies I have managed to clean and sanitize toys and the house, bake some cookies, do a million loads of laundry, play outside with Beau, make out Christmas cards, went grocery shopping, oh the list goes on. I'm tuckered out. So, I'm just going to add a lot of pics, and then hit the hay.
Before all the hoopla on Thursday I got out to go to school. :)
Beau loves the snow. It's just so dang cold. I need to get down my sled.
He loves sugar, I mean sprinkles ;)
To disinfect plastic toys I do 10 parts water to about 1 part bleach. Now they are clean as can be...for about 12 hours until they wake up. Lol.
If I haven't mentioned this before...one thing my pediatrician has always had me do with all my kids is use mylanta or milk of magnesia to put on the babies booties as a barrier to keep them from getting diaper rash while having any kind of virus. It works. All you do is dab it on wih a cotton ball, and let it dry. You can put diaper rash creame on top of it if they already have a rash. It should clear up, and not get any worse by doing this. Try it, and you will thank me for sharing this wonderful diaper rash tip.
Normally snow doesn't last very long here, but going on day three tomorrow.
They just love getting baths, and visiting with momma during the process.
They want food so bad :(
